About Me

My name is Katie; I’m an aspiring makeup artist. I do freelancing, and have worked on Brides, Prom-goers, and costume makeup for Halloween.
I fell in love with makeup and what it can do. The creation you can make and the feelings that come with it. I love that Makeup can make me feel like a million dollars on a bad day, and I love even more than that the reaction I get from helping someone else. (I don’t think that Makeup is all someone has and that it’s the only way to be pretty. I feel that when used properly it accents what beauty you do have.)
That feeling is why I love doing makeup. I love that no matter who we are something like makeup is so versatile. There is something to fit everyone, and there is always something new.

*I am addicted to my chapstick…
*my favorite color is purple
*I’m in my early twenties
*I’m one of six kids, so big crowds of people are my thing.



-Three makeup things I can’t live without…

*Moisturizer, I hate dry skin.

*Foundation, I was graced with acne prone skin so I have scaring and dark spots

*Mascara!! I am one of the lucky girls not graced with good eyelashes. They can hardly see them they are so short. I need me a good mascara that lengthens and gives me volume.

-Three hair things I can’t live without….

*My straightener, if I had to choose a hot tool to keep and I had to toss the rest, that’s what I would pick. It does the whole thing, straighten and curl. (Which would be hard, because I love my clipless…)

* BOBBIE PINS! Do I need to say more?

*Hairspray- I don’t think I can live without any form of this.
